By downloading, installing, or using PetLingo ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

PetLingo provides a 90-day personalized pet training plan, AI-powered assistance (Dr. Tail), activity tracking, and related features to help you build a strong foundation with your pet.

3. User Accounts

To use PetLingo, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Subscription and Payments

Free Account

  • Access to the first 7 days of training
  • Limited Dr. Tail AI messages
  • Basic activity tracking

Pro Subscription

  • Monthly: $4.99/month
  • Annual: $29.99/year (save 50%)
  • 7-day free trial for new users
  • Auto-renews unless cancelled 24 hours before period ends
  • Managed through Apple App Store

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial periods.

5. AI Assistant Disclaimer

Important: Dr. Tail is an AI assistant trained on pet behavior knowledge but is NOT a substitute for professional veterinary care or certified animal behaviorist advice.

  • Always consult a licensed veterinarian for medical concerns
  • Seek professional behaviorist help for serious behavioral issues
  • Use Dr. Tail for general guidance and education only

6. User Content and Conduct

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise the App
  • Share inappropriate or harmful content
  • Abuse or spam the AI assistant
  • Share your account credentials with others

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of PetLingo (including training plans, AI responses, design, and code) are owned by PetLingo and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PETLINGO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any injuries to you or your pet
  • Any damages resulting from following training advice
  • Loss of data or service interruptions
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Your use of PetLingo is at your own risk. We provide training guidance but cannot guarantee specific outcomes.

9. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Fraudulent or abusive behavior
  • Non-payment of subscription fees

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
